The Southwest Sikkim Region

The people who live in the Southwest Sikkim Region come from many ethnic backgrounds and have varying religious beliefs, but they still maintain unity. They’re more aware of politics than their neighbors to the northeast, and they believe that entering the political arena allows people to become self-supporting and rich in all areas of life.

Nepali is the common language spoken, and Buddhism and Hinduism are the main religions practiced in the Southwest Sikkim Region.
