I was born November 17, 1993, into a Hindu family in Sri Lanka. Our family consist of seven members. My parents take care of domestic animals.
We were financially poor. The situation of our financial difficulty was exacerbated by father’s drinking habit. Due to these reasons, I could study only up to eighth grade.
In the course of time, my sister came to know about Christ. Then my brother also followed her. I was not much interested till I read a gospel booklet. When I read it, I began to understand my sinful life. Hence, I understood that there is only one true God and it is Jesus Christ. My life began to change. Since, my father was a heavy drunkard, I began to pray unitedly for him. God heard our prayer and my father stopped consuming alchohol. Realizing that this miracle is from God, I repented of my sins and received Jesus as my Savior.
I desired to study God’s Word and serve Him. When I talked to my pastor about my desire, he told me about the Gospel for Asia Bible School. As I prayed to the Lord regarding this, He confirmed me of my calling and I enrolled in a GFA Bible School.
